Roots Marlborough Dry Gin
A crisp and robust ‘London Dry’ style gin. Batch distilled in a boutique 200L copper pot still after a 24 hour activated maceration in a sustainable neutral base spirit. Bottled at a bold 45% alcohol by volume.
Produced entirely by our own hands, on estate in the heart of the Marlborough wine region.
A juniper forward palate followed by a fresh grapefruit and hop zest balanced against a highly aromatic kawakawa and gorse nose.
Finishing long and clean with a slightly silky mouthfeel and lingering coriander seed note.

I've tired hundreds of gins. Whilst I'm always trying new stuff this is the only one I rebuy. Great online support and service as well.
The wonderful crisp flavour makes this my favourite gin. Especially good served as a double poured over a couple of blocks of ice with light fever tree tonic.
I have tried this while staying with family and really liked the flavours so I bought another bottle for them. Surprised that it is taking 6 days to get from distillery to Waikanae.
